Jinabhai Darji’s Death Condoled

The Congress President, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, on 31 August condoled the passing away of veteran Congress leader Shri Jinabhai Darji. He worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden.

Shri Jinabhai Darji was also instrumental in implementing Indira Gandhi’s mass campaign movement in 1977. His demise is a great loss to the party and the void created would be difficult to be filled, according to AICC secretary, Shri Tom Vadakkan.
