Letter
to Congress Workers
Impressive
Number
The
Congress Sandesh has completed five years of its publication
and I congratulate it for its five-year golden journey.
I went through the anniversary issue of August, 2003 and
was much impressed. This issue has depicted the achievements
of the Congress during the past five years in a most telling
way. I am also impressed the way Congress Sandesh has presented
the historic journey of our charismatic, progressive and
inspiring Congress president, Smt. Sonia Gandhi.
I
hope the Congress Sandesh will continue to come out like
this and keep Congress workers well informed about party
activities through its beautiful and informative medium.

I
am very much impressed with the coverage and lay-out of
the August, 2003 issue of the Congress Sandesh. The achievements
of our party president, Smt. Sonia Gandhi from 1998 to 2003
and of the Congress Sandesh have been narrated with colour
photographs are very good. The Mahila Congress and Ex-Servicemen
reports with photographs are remarkable. The AICC Diary
briefs about the important features in July and the cartoons
reveal the funny part of the BJP-led NDA government at the
Centre. The style, standard and pattern of the journal are
commendable.

Congratulations
I
subscribe to Congress Sandesh and congratulate the editorial
staff for the completion of five year's of its publication.
I am confident that under the able leadership of Smt. Sonia
Gandhi the Congress will certainly form government at the
Centre. Congress is the only party that has cared for the
poor, destitutes, dalits and minorities. I am sure that
during the coming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh,
Delhi, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram the party will
make historic victory.

am
a regular reader of Congress Sandesh. The magazine has completed
five years of its publication and the credit goes to the
Congress president, Smt. Sonia Gandhi, and the entire editorial

its history and its policies. I would like to congratulate
the people behind making this magazine popular by improving
it day by day.

Wider
reach Needed
I
suggest that Congress Sandesh should reach every worker
of the party and it will help in spreading the ideology
of the party amongst the common people and will be more
popular in the hindi-speaking belt. I wish the Congress
Sandesh reaches every one and continues to carry the suggestions
and articles of the Congress workers.

Gehlot
People's CM
The
Rajasthan Chief Minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot is the first-ever
chief minister who meets people without hesitation and looks
into their problems. He takes particular interest into the
problems of the backward class people. He has constructed
community centers for the poor and the low castes and has
renovated many a cremation grounds by his MLA fund. He has
given real shape to the development of Rajasthan and has
provided more money for the developmental work in comparison
to any other chief minister. When the opposition could not
find fault with Shri Gehlot, they started a movement to
spread caste-based hatred by raising the reservation issue.
Even this stunt by the opposition has helped Shri Gehlot.
His work for the general public will be written in golden
letters in the history of India.
