2 November. 1866 : Death of the last Mughal king of Delhi and supreme commander of first war of independence in 1857, Bahadur Shah Zafar at Rangoon (Burma) in British captivity.

11 November, 1913 : Great March which started on 28 October 1913 from Transwal was arrested at Palmford.

11 November, 1913 : Gandhiji was sentenced to 9 month’s rigorous imprisonment at Dundee and removed to Volksturst on 13 November.

14 November, 1889 : Birth of the first Prime Minister of India and under whose presidentship the Indian National Congress in 1929, changed its goal from dominion status to complete independence.

17 November, 1915 : Five members of Gaddar Party namely Kartar Singh Saraba of district Ludhiana, Vishnu Ganesh Pingley of Pune (connected with several conspiracy cases of Lahore, Banaras and Lord Harding Bomb case), Surain Singh of district Sialkot, Surain Singh Badal and Jagat Singh were hanged in Lahore Central Jail.

17 November, 1928 : Martyrdom of Punjab Kesri Lala Lajpat Rai at Lahore due to police lathi-charge on his body when he was leading a procession against Simon Commission. Few days before his martyrdom he declared in public meeting : "Blows on my body would prove nails in the coffin of British imperialism."

19 November, 1917 : The birth of Bharat Ratna, Smt. Indira Gandhi, under whose premiership India gave a crushing defeat to Pakistan reducing it to half and a new country, Bangladesh, emerged. She was widely acclaimed as "Incarnation of goddess Durga". She was murdered by her own bodyguards on 31 October, 1984.

30 November, 1896 : Gandhiji rejects a move to get a pathan punished who nearly killed him.

4 November, 1938 : There was a labour strike in many places which was supported by Subhash Chandra Bose and other youth leaders. At Jamshedpur a fully loaded truck under a British officer drove over Sardar Hazare Singh, killing him on the spot.

9 November, 1915 : Baba Bhan Singh of Ludhiana a Gaddarite serving life imprisonment in jail died due to atrocities.

10 November, 1908 : Kanai Lal Dutt, an accused in Alipur Conspiracy case alongwith Arbinder Ghosh, killed an approver in the case and was hanged in Alipur jail.

21 November, 1945 : Shri Rameshwar Banerji, student leader aged 18 was severely wounded in lathi-charge later succumbed to his injuries.

22 November, 1915 : Shri Narender Nath Dasgupta and Sitender Nath Mukherjee accused in Balasore explosion were hanged.

22 November, 1930 : Shri Tarlochan Sen, aged 19, Prakas Bal and his real brother Hari Gopal died in fighting police in a pitched battle in Jalalabad hills.

23 November, 1930 : Shri Manoranjan Dasgupta, an associate of Shri Jitender Nath Mookherji, accused in Balasore explosion case, was hanged.
