Sonia Gandhi Visits Dighauri

DIGHORI : The Congress President, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, on February 22 performed "abhishek" for the world’s largest crystal Shivalinga at Sri Guru Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple at Dighauri in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh.

Mrs. Gandhi also performed the "parikarma" of the temple and Yajnashala where the Atirudra Yajna concluded today.

Present on the occasion were the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Mr. Digvijay Singh, the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Mr. Vilas Rao Deshmukh, the Chattisgarh Chief Minister, Mr. Ajit Jogi, the former Union Ministers, Mr. Kamal Nath and Mr. Motilal Vora, besides several State Ministers, including the Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister, Mr. Harvansh Singh, who represents the Kevlari Assembly constituency falling in the Seoni district.
