The Lok Sabha elections are over and the BJP is back to its old game of shouting in Parliament. Given the rifts that are surfacing within its ranks, the saffron brigade is despondent and desperate. It is unable to detect the reasons for its defeat, let alone seeing the future clearly. Some, including the veteran Atal Behari Vajpayee blame Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, while others think the party had overdone the `India Shining' and `Feel Good' campaigns. While playing their individual tunes openly, they are also taking time to challenge the dignosis of others. That they are offering an interesting tamasha to the public who have not yet recovered from `feel good' fun, is not occurring to any of them. Like the proverbial blind men and the elephant the search for their defeat seems unending. But they are all united in one thing and something they all know doing - obstructing the proceedings in Parliament. They can't be really blamed, for this is the only activity they have mastered over the years.
