Donation Camp
KARNAL

The Youth Congress workers here donated blood on 21 May
to mark the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi. The programme
was organised by Haryana Pradesh Youth Congress secretary,
Shri Naresh Sandhu and Shri Gopal Krishna Sahotra, president
of the All India Priyanka Gandhi Dalit Brigade. Around 60
units of blood was collected. Among others who donated blood
included Shri Kamal Mann, Shri Navin Chopra, Shri Rakesh,
Shri Tejbir Rana and Shri Kehar Singh Rana.

the occasion of birth anniversary of late Bharat Ratna
Gulzarilal Nanda on 4 July at Sadachar Sthal, Brahma
Sarovar, Kurukshetra (Haryana). Shri R.D. Goel, vice-president,
Haryana PCC, Shri Pawan Garg, president Kurukshetra
District Congress Committee and other prominent people
of the district paid tributes to the departed leader.

The AICC secretary, Shri Anil Shastri visited Navlakha area
here on 17 April and was shocked that the pedestal where
the statue of Indira Gandhi was to be erected was in a bad
shape. The pedestal, sans the statue, was surrounded by
dirty water and people used the place for bathing and washing
clothes.
Shri
Shastri said the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation of the
city had enough money to erect statues of former BJP leaders
but they do not have funds for a leader of international
stature who made India proud. Block Congress president Shri
Arvind Bagdi, MLA, Shri Satyanarain Patel, City Congress
president, Shri Ujjagar Singh and other were present on
the occasion with Shri Shastri.
