Ambedkar Apostle of People : Sonia Gandhi

The nation pays tributes to Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 112th birth anniversary on 14 April.

Thousands of workers of the Congress Party congregated at the residence of Congress President,Smt. Sonia Gandhi as she flagged off the Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti.

Smt. Sonia Gandhi said that Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s vision of India is reflected in the Constitution he drafted, the dynamics of which have stood India good-stead. Through his writings and work among the downtrodden he emerged as an apostle of the people.
